Cadillac Ranch

One of the more random things I’ve ever seen, but fun. The Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo,Texas. One of my favorite memories is watching my dad climb up the car with a spray can in his hand and oxygen tank on his back. When traveling to Texas it going to be cheaper and roomier to book an AirBNB instead of booking a hotel. Be sure to find and use our coupon code before you go!

Ait Ben Haddou – a beautiful ancient village in Morocco

This is Ait Ben Haddou – a beautiful ancient village in Morocco, completely made of mud!
It was a little tricky to get to that village by local transportation, but that’s why I appreciated this place even more when I got there 😊
Sometimes, the hardest paths in life lead you to the most beautiful goals!! 😍
Oh, and I almost forgot – a lot of movies were shot here, including Gladiator, Babel, Sodom and Gomorrah, The Jewel of the Nile, The Mummy, Kingdom of Heaven, Prince of Persia…and also Game of Thrones!

The Northern Lights of Norway!

wow! Stunning!
Norway is a Scandinavian country encompassing mountains, glaciers and deep coastal fjords. Oslo, the capital, is a city of green spaces and museums. Preserved 9th-century Viking ships are displayed at Oslo’s Viking Ship Museum. Bergen, with colorful wooden houses, is the starting point for cruises to the dramatic Sognefjord. Norway is also known for fishing, hiking and skiing, notably at Lillehammer’s Olympic resort.

Explaining All that AirBNB has to offer: AirBNB Experiences

Ask anyone what AirBNB does and everyone will talk about AirBNB Stay. This is where you rent someone’s house or part of someone’s house in place of renting a hotel room. However AirBNB actually has four components: 1)Stay, 2)Experiences, 3)Adventures and 4)Restaurants. This blog post is meant to explain the little known but exciting facent of AirBNB Experieneces.

What are vacations for? Visiting Cousin Eddie? Well yes, but also for having fun! Doing new things! Exploring the culture and history of an area that you’ve never been to before. It can often be difficult to find and do these things in the limited amount of time that you have on vacation so AirBNB has made this process easy with AirBNB Experiences!

First, how to get to Experiences. First select the area that you want to visit in the Where To box on AirBNB, for example Chicago. This will pull up a section called Explore Chicago with Stays, Experinces and Resturants. (We will go over Restuarants later!) Next click Experiences.

The Experiences section is divided into categories. For example, Chicago is divided into Food & Drink, Arts & Entertainment, Classes & Workshops, History & Local Causes, Sports & Outdoors and Health & Wellness.

The Experiences are hosted by local experts. Each listing gives a brief explanation of not only what you will be doing on the Experience but also who will be hosting it. Generally the Experiences cover everything. If there are entrance fees for example, that will be covered. This is great because often times a local host will be able to get you into an event or show for less than you could! Most Experiences will also cover a light snack and drink so that is one less thing to worry about.

Just like AirBNB stays, Experiences are rated with pictures by previous guest. This is a great feature and will allow you to know exactly what you are getting before you book the Experience.

I love this feature of AirBNB and I’ve noticed that Experiences are being added at a very quick place. You can plan your entire trip on AirBNB now!

Glacier National Park

Glacier National Park is a 1,583-sq.-mi. wilderness area in Montana’s Rocky Mountains, with glacier-carved peaks and valleys running to the Canadian border. It’s crossed by the mountainous Going-to-the-Sun Road. Among more than 700 miles of hiking trails, it has a route to photogenic Hidden Lake. Other activities include backpacking, cycling and camping. Diverse wildlife ranges from mountain goats to grizzly bears.

The best time of year to visit Glacier National Park is during the warm summer months of July, August, and September. June and October are also lovely times to go, but the higher elevations of the Going-to-the-Sun Road, including Logan Pass, may be blocked by snow.
